sir, my amylase is113U/L and lipase is 204U/L . i had a oily stool. early morning when the stools comes out it is normal but after some time the stool becomes loose and free flow, my physician says it as acute pancreatites,but i did not feel pain all the time in my pancrease, the pain comes very low ,irregular 3 to 4 times and for short period.i had a very sensational feeling in my belly button 2 to three times a day ,specially when i ride byke or urinate. what should i di and what should be my dit ,pls help sir.this thing is causing very mental pressure in me....pls help me with your opinion sir.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Acute pancreatitis should be treated as inpatient by admission. Amylase and lipase levels are clearly elevated. You need to be treated by means of appropriate course of antibiotics. Along with it, your fluids needs to be replinished and electrolyte levels to be maintained. You would also require complete bed rest and be on strict recommended diet till the acute phase subsides. Kindly consult Physician for appropriate management.
